Aussie surfer Mick Fanning welcomes first baby with fiance Breeana Randall

World champion surfer Mick Fanning and his fiancée, Breeana Randall, have welcomed their first baby together.

Breeana, 27, gave birth to Xander Dean Fanning on Monday, August 10.

Mick, 39, shared the news with a photo of the cute newborn on Instagram — along with a touching caption.

“Hi, my name is Xander Dean Fanning and I came into the world on 10th August 2020 at 2:14pm. I weigh 3.31 kg or 7lbs 7oz.” Mick wrote.

“Mama was so calm, relaxed and in the zone. Dada calls her his Zen Wonder Woman and is so in awe of how strong and amazing she is.

“Dada thought he could focus but he’s got nothing on Mama. She rules. Dada loves you beyond words.

“Can’t wait to meet all my family, friends and all my Uncles and Aunties around the world that gave us so much support.

“But until then I’m going to get to know Mama and Dada so would love some quiet time with them.

“Thank you to Dr Gen Bishop @glow_obstetrics and all the amazing midwives and staff at John Flynn Hospital. You’ve all been too kind, loving and helpful.

Breeana also posted the photo of Xander on her Instagram account, along with her own heartfelt caption.

“Mick and I are beyond in love with our strong, healthy cub. It was you all along mate.. I dreamt of you always,” she wrote.

“We're all doing so well and soaking in all the cuddles. I've fallen in love with you all over again @mfanno. My rock, my support, my everything.

“Cheers to this beautiful journey with you, my lover.”

Mick and Breeana got engaged in February after the surfing champ popped the question at Dreamtime Beach in NSW.

The couple announced their engagement and the pregnancy with a series of photos capturing Breeana’s joy.

“I'm so excited for this beautiful and rad journey together as a family, and to see you flourish as a daddy. You melt my heart everyday with your outpouring of love and affection,' she wrote on Instagram.

“And what I thought would be a bubby announcement photo shoot turned into something else so very special. MICK!!

“Thank you for supporting my happiness and choosing me to ride this wild thing called life with you by each other’s side.

The couple went public with their relationship in November 2017,two years after Mick split from first wife Karissa Dalton.
