Staff ready for beach cleanup
Stocker Preston staff members will take part in the group’s first WA Beach Clean Up in October as people around the State head to their local beaches to remove rubbish.
The 10th annual clean-up will be the first year Stocker Preston is involved.
Director Ken Preston said with all five Stocker Preston offices in close proximity to the coast, he believed it was a great opportunity to be involved in a program “dedicated to looking after the local coastal environment”.
“The Margaret River office will have around 10 staff members participating and will be bringing along family members, ” he said.
“Many hands make light work.
Tangaroa Blue’s Renee Mouritz said it was great to have Stocker Preston on board and said about 130 locations would be cleaned overall.
Ms Mouritz said October was the perfect time to hold the clean-up.
Anyone interested in getting involved with the beach clean-up can contact Ms Mouritz at renee@tangaroablue.org
The WA Beach Clean-Up runs on October 11 and 12.
