Lamont's extends it reach

Busselton Dunsborough Times

The popular Lamont’s brand name has expanded to include a gourmet deli, wine bar and restaurant at Yallingup’s Smiths Beach resort.

Lamont’s Smiths Beach manager Rebecca Delgado said the decision to expand the brand within the South West was made last December.

The deli and wine bar is open seven days a week, with the former serving coffee and casual breakfasts and the latter quick tapas until late, while the restaurant offered a seasonal a la carte menu five nights a week.

“The head chef is Jim Mailes and the food within the restaurant is modern Australian-style dining,” Ms Delgado said.

“Jim’s speciality is his locally sourced fish dishes, currently nannygai served with panzanella salad and salsa verde.”

The Gunyulgup cellar door and restaurant, established 10 years ago under the guidance of the Lamont family, would remain open five days a week and serve casual lunch-style dining.
